Atlanta, Georgia
Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport is the world’s busiest airport and offers direct flights from over 155 U.S. cities and six continents. Over 80% of the U.S. population is within a 2-hour flight. From the terminal, it’s a short 20-minute ride to where you need to go via rental cars, public transportation or MARTA.
Meeting Venues
The Georgia World Congress Center is the fourth largest in the country, providing customizable meeting and event space for any size meeting. It offers 1.4 million square feet of prime exhibit space, 106 meetings rooms, 3 auditoriums and 2 grand ballrooms. Getting here is easy, with direct MARTA transportation from the airport. Other convention venues include the Atlanta Convention Center at AmericasMart and the Georgia International Convention Center.
Unique Event Spaces
One of Atlanta’s draws is its compact and walkable downtown convention and entertainment district. Located around Georgia World Congress Center and Centennial Olympic Park are event spaces, award-winning restaurants, and fabulous hotels. Plan your event at the Westin Peachtree Plaza with its rooftop Sundial offering incredible skyline views (it recently underwent a recent $70 million transformation), the High Museum, the Fernbank Museum of Natural History or the Atlanta Botanical Garden.
Accommodations
Downtown Atlanta offers the city’s largest concentration of convention hotels, with more than 10,000 hotel rooms within walking distance of the city’s Georgia World Congress Center.
Dining and Entertainment
Atlanta’s award-winning restaurant scene reinvents Southern Style. Here, 54 Atlanta chefs have been semifinalists for the coveted James Beard Awards. Twenty three restaurants are found in the Convention District alone, with dozens more in the nearby Buckhead, Midtown, Inman Park and Virginia Highland & Poncey Highland neighborhoods. A total of 91 restaurants are located within a one-mile radius of your convention.
Only in Atlanta can you find The World of Coca-Cola, Georgia Aquarium–the U.S.’s largest aquarium, CNN Center, and for Gone With the Wind fans, the home where Margaret Mitchell penned her famous novel and Pittypat’s Porch restaurant. For sports enthusiasts and unique events, Atlanta is home to the NFL Falcons, NBA Hawks and MLB Braves.
Coming to Atlanta? We’d love to help you coordinate your airport transfers, shuttle and ground transportation services.
