ETS Says “May We” to Several Groups in May

At Event Transportation Systems (ETS), we had a very busy May with lots of successful special event and convention transportation projects—with both new clients and some of our favorite repeat customers. Here are some of the highlights:

ETS Provides Transportation Management Services for ACOG’s Annual Clinical Meeting in San Francisco

ETS was pleased to play our part as The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) unveiled a new format for their meeting this year. ETS provided daily shuttle buses for attendees and sedans for VIPs, safely and efficiently moving people between hotels, the convention center, the airport and special event venues. As always, we were able to make last minute adjustments and navigate around traffic in a city that’s always busy with commuters and tourists.

ACOG, one of our long-time favorite clients, is the premier organization for obstetricians, gynecologists and providers of women’s health care. ETS provided transportation management services for ACOG’s 63rd Annual Clinical Meeting, held May 2-6, 2015 at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco.

ETS Serves a New Client: The American Telemedicine Association in Los Angeles

The American Telemedicine Association (ATA) is a new client for Event Transportation Systems and we were thrilled to be asked to provide shuttle transportation between hotels and the Los Angeles Convention Center for meeting attendees. It’s always exciting to be in L.A. and we hope our role in executing this event helped to make it a success.

This was the 20th Annual International Meeting & Trade Show, held May 3-5, 2015 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. For over 20 years, this meeting has been the premier forum for healthcare professionals and entrepreneurs in the telemedicine, telehealth and Health space. With a focus on networking and interactive learning, the ATA 2015 program featured over 500 presentations, 13 educational tracks and the largest telemedicine trade show in the world.

ETS Provides Ground Transportation for The American Urological Association’s Annual Meeting in New Orleans

Another repeat client of ours – The American Urological Association (AUA) – brought its Annual Meeting to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans this year, where ETS executed ground transportation services from May 15-19, 2015.

With 45 buses on site, ETS moved the majority of attendees between the convention center and their hotels each day and provided VIP sedan service, as well as transportation to and from the Grand Reception that took place at Mardi Gras World where attendees got to tour the Mardi Gras “Float Den,” before moving on to the reception.

ETS also employed its proprietary GPS shuttle tracking technology as an added transportation management layer to keep shuttles on track and on schedule.

Newsday Communications, a division of ETS, supplied exterior shuttle bus banners on more than half the buses in addition to interior window banners and seat head rest covers, allowing major sponsors to promote their brand and products, and drive traffic to their booths.

AUA’s Annual Meeting is the largest gathering of board-certified urologists in the world, with more than 10,000 health care professionals in attendance gathered to advance the practice of urologic medicine. Eric Hotard, president & CEO of ETS, and his brother Erroll Hotard, are natives of New Orleans, so it’s always fun for them to provide transportation services in a town that they know inside and out.

If you have an upcoming convention or meeting, consider using Event Transportation Systems for your ground transportation and transportation management services.
